As it is, I HATE Dentists.
Therefor I NEVER go for a yearly visit.
I am one of those people, that hope and pray that the tooth ache will dissapear naturally, or I take tissue salts, even use that vulgar smelling "clove oil",but go to a Dentist NEVER.........
So I was eating a banana, and a tooth broke, disintegrated, dissapeared. Yes you heard right, a banana. Unfortunately the tooth is an essentail part of my smile. Needless to say, make an appointment, had a sleepless night filled with night sweats and anxiety.
Arrive at the Dentist office, and the Receptionist does not even look up from her Computer Screen, not even a "morning" or "hallo".
Now feeling very very alone and wanting my "Mommy" I said - "Lady do you know how it feels to walk around a whole day not being able to smile because of your ugly broken tooth, and then spend a sleepless night because I am shitless scared of the Dentist, standing infront of you and waiting for acknowledgment of my arrival and my existence."
She nervously gave me a sardonic smile and said "sorry I am busy, please have a seat"!!!!!!!!!!
Is it just me, or is it just the "older generation" that has proper, basic manners??????
Well thank goodness I can smile now, big, bright and with no broken teeth!!!!, and guess what Receptionist, the next time you see me, will only be in case of SERIOUS EMERGENCY!!!!!!
Halleluja.

Pureness of the Human Heart
Yesterday morning 16 February, our local radio station, 94.7 aired a story about a couple that has been taken hostage by Somalian Rebels (Pirates) on their way to Mozambique on a Yacht.
Bruno & Debbie have been imprisoned for 15 months now. The SA Government offered "counselling".
Unfortunately the negative side of this story is that the family, on their own, needs to raise 1 Million US Dollars WITHOUT any support from our Government - International Relationships.
Our Government has an Army, the Fleet and Specialised Units available to utilise and to rescue our South African couple out of there, but they are not even taking calls or emails in this matter. (Look at President Obama's view on this, he sends in the Navy Seals, destroy and kill, BUT he brings home the Americans)
The AMAZING POSITIVE side of this story -
After Wackhead had telephone calls with the family the Johannesburg community came together and started to donate money.
Individuals and Major Companies.
This is still not a battle won, but I just thought, if we as a Community can stand together for 1 cause that we believe it, and work towards helping Bruno & Debbie get back to their family, what an AMAZING accomplishment.
My friends, sms SOS to 38417, and donate R10 towards a families Happy Reunion.
Lets also pray and believe that in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ - ALL things are possible.

My Truth
Why is it, when you have difficulties or challenges, people offer free advice?????
The following statements nearly pushed me over the edge -
You are stronger than this,
Your faith - being tested,
Pull yourself together,
Smile, get up and move on.
I am sooooo sorry guys, but sometimes you need words like -
Shit thats bad, I am sorry,
You're really in a crappy situation,
OR
Just give me hug, and shut up.
See you later
